How to work home mailers!
Sending out home mailers is very common in our industry, yet the process of how we work them seems to vary greatly from one agency to the next. In my agency we write 150+ policies a month from this process, and it’s some of the best business we put on the books!! This week we will focus on the calls that we get on these and specifically how to navigate that conversation knowing that there is a good chance that both the price and the coverage amounts will change after we’ve had our full conversation with the prospect.
"Are you sure I should follow up with you?" How to make sure your prospects are bought in!!
Have you ever gotten to the end of a call and the prospect says, “not yet,” so you tell them you’ll follow up… but you aren’t really sure they’re bought in? That’s a pipeline nightmare - chasing people with no real reason to move forward. This week, we’re going to talk about how and when to decide if a follow-up is actually necessary by uncovering the real “why” behind your prospect’s hesitation. If you don’t know their “why,” you don’t know if you should be following up at all.
Creative strategies to GET MORE QUOTES!!!
The easiest way to predict our success in sales is to simply make sure we are getting the right number of “at bats” needed to get us there. Increasing your quote volume is a way to guarantee that you will make more sales. In this episode we will focus on exactly that - creating specific strategies to make sure you are doing enough quotes to meet the expectations of your agency, and of yourself!
The REDEMPTION call - Wish you would have? Now you can!
We’ve all been there… We get off the phone and we realize we forgot to ask our prospect or customer about something that we believe would have made a difference. Is it a lost opportunity? Of course not! Making a simple “Redemption Call” is just the cure for this ailment. This gives us a polite way of letting them know that we appreciated our conversation, but that we left feeling like we could have added a bit more value to them by mentioning something more that you feel is important.
